Water Dragon Year

It'll come riding on waves. The Black Water Dragon starts its reign today, the first day of the Lunar, or Chinese, New Year. It's a powerful symbol. Of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac, only the dragon is a mythical creature - one that is associated with superiority, power and intelligence. In the West, the dragon usually is seen as a feared creature that breathes fire and brings destruction, but the celestial Chinese dragon is a benevolent animal that is revered as a protector against evil. In that spirit, we look at some dragons that we'd all like to meet and others that are best avoided.
